Tillie Tuesday, the Easter Edition

Tillie, a surprise Easter gift for her parents

“I told my teacher that candy and eggs aren’t what Easter is all about. I told her that the most important thing is that God rose from the dead.”

Tillie, on meeting strangers

“When you are first born your parents are strangers, right? Because you have never met them before. So how are you not supposed to talk to strangers?”

Tillie, on the ever expanding names she calls us

“So, just waiting for Jeannie Batini?”

Speaking of names…

Tillie: Who do you think I will marry in the future?

Me: I don’t know. It will be fun to see who you fall in love with.

Tillie: Probably someone named Bob.

Tillie, on stopping by at our former church

“Can I go in and say hi to the people who love me?”

Tillie, on nutrition

She picks up a gum dispenser she received as a gift. “Mmmm. Protein.”

And, finally,
