It’s just another Tillie Tuesday,

I wish it were a snooze day,

But it’s my news day,

And just another Tillie Tuesday!

Tillie, throwing her blanket at us:

“It’s a pink tsunami!”

Tillie, on reading her book:

“Do you want to read my book with me? Your mind is going to blow up.”

Tillie, on hike through the snow:

“Don’t go that way, daddy. Yesterday I got stuck in quick snow. You know what quick snow is, right? It’s like quick sand only colder.”

Tillie on choosing a tv show (apparently using Jedi mind control):

“Does your heart say Nick Jr., daddy? Can you not control yourself?” (We watched Nick Jr.)

Tillie, playing a memory match game with funny names for animals:

Tillie: What is this one?

Me: That’s Selby the Sloth.

Tillie: What’s a sloth?

Me: A sloth is known as a lazy animal.

Tillie: Oh...maybe you should have that one.

Tillie, on getting her backpack:

“I will get it as fast as a blink of an eye. I mean two eyes.”

And, finally, after yet another long discussion about Unicorns with different colored sparkly eyes (4 nights in a row) and how disappointed she is, we turn off the lights. Then, a minute later, she whispers:

“I love you...I guess.”
