It’s just another Tillie Tuesday,

I wish it were a snooze day,

But it’s my news day,

And just another Tillie Tuesday.

Tillie, a breakfast conversation:

Tillie: Daddy, what is your favorite food? It can even be pie.

Me: Pie.

Tillie: What else?

Me: Hmmm...

Tillie: You have to go quick this is the speed round!

Tillie, on oozing family pride:

“We know the Hartfields and the Markquarts are the smartest and the beautifulest and the handsomest and the kindest people in the world but we don’t know how many people are in our family. Some say ninety but I think it’s a hundred.”

Tillie, speaking the truth after dropping some ice cream on the floor:

“Well, that’s something you hope you don’t have to see every day.”

Tillie, on pain, as she repeatedly hits the same spot on her head:

“I figured it out. Whenever I push right here it hurts.”

Tillie, as Jeanne wakes up again and her hair is perfect:

“Mommy’s hair is perfect. Is my hair wacky? Daddy, your hair is wackier than mine. You know that, right?”

And, finally...

Tillie, ending with a cliffhanger:

Tillie: Impressive!

Me: What’s impressive?

Tillie: Oh, never mind.

Me: What?...What?
