It’s just another Tillie Tuesday,
I wish it were a snooze day,
But it’s my news day,
And just another Tillie Tuesday.
Tillie Tuesday, the Stop and Smell the Flowers Edition
Tillie, on smelling the flowers at the Naples Botanical Garden
“Mmmm, smells nice. Smells like chicken.”
2. Tillie, on guessing game misses
Tillie: I bet you can’t think of what number I’m thinking of.
Me: Twelve.
Tillie: Nope.
Me: Seven.
Tillie: Even noper.
3. Tillie, on living the dream
Tillie has an ice cream dessert
“If I had ten more bellies I would want ten more of these.”
4. Tillie, on the nuance of challenges
Me: Tillie, it’s time to clean up your toys.
Tillie: It’s too hard work.
Me: I think you should do more hard work.
Tillie: Well, my game’s hard work.
5. Tillie, on finding the lava lined volcano
We watched “Fire of Love”, a documentary of a husband and wife who spent their lives chasing volcano eruptions getting closer and closer each time. We watched the smoke billowing up.
Tillie said, “Smok-alanche!”
Then at the end when the couple got too close during an eruption. They were engulfed and died.
Tillie said, “That’s sad. But at least their ghosts can go inside the volcano now.”
Tillie, on figuring out the why
Me: Tillie, you’re the only one who got mail.
Tillie: Well, I am the most attractive.
