It’s just another Tillie Tuesday,

I wish it were a snooze day,

But it’s my news day,

And just another Tillie Tuesday.

Tillie, the school’s out for summer edition

Tillie, on reading the room

Me: Tillie come back here

Tillie: I’m guessing there’s going to be an exclamation mark at the end of that.

Tillie, on life questions

As Tillie matures her questions are becoming more in depth:

“Daddy, what’s your fifth favorite color?”

Tillie, on technology

Tillie: Can I watch tv?

Me: No.

Tillie: Then I HATE electricity!

Tillie, on self awareness

“Daddy, can I tell you something? Sometimes I get motion sickness from myself.”

Tillie, on botanical geography

Tillie: Daddy, what’s that?

Me: A rash.

Tillie: From what?

Me: From poison ivy.

Tillie: Daddy! There’s no poison ivy in North America! In fact, there’s no poison ivy in any of the Americas.

Me: I wish.

Tillie, explaining she wants a new headboard

“I would like something more current.”

Tillie, during the headboard discussion, giving good shopping advice

“Daddy can I tell you something? When I see something new I have to think about it for a few days until I get used to it. Otherwise, I get sad.”
