It’s just another Tillie Tuesday,

I wish it were a snooze day,

But it’s my news day,

And just another Tillie Tuesday.

Tillie Tuesday, the 34th Edition

Tillie, on life’s important questions

“Do mermaids pee?…How?”

Tillie, on the naming of stuffed animals

Tillie: Do you know where Icey is?

Me: No…Oh, wait, I guess she was behind me.

Tillie: Maybe I should name her Heidi because she hides from me.

Tillie, on the importance of history

“Did you ever play this game in the back old days?”

Tillie, due to her “Hamilton” obsession now believes there was a person in history named:

“Aaron Burrsir.”

Tillie, on how to win an epic battle of “One Problem”

(Tillie likes to play a bad guy/good guy game in which you name your attack). Here’s how a battle with our friend, Pamela “the bad guy”, went down:

Tillie: Attack with Hydro Force!

Pam: Attack with marshmallow ice cream!

Tillie: One problem. I have Lava Flame and melt your ice cream.

Pam: Attack with Love Chocolate!

Tillie: One problem. I have an ice wall that blocks your Love Chocolate!

(It goes on like this for awhile as we road trip) And then…

Pam: I attack you with sleep potion.

Tillie: Lightning Ray!

Me: You can’t use Lightning Ray, Tillie, because you are asleep.

Tillie: One problem! That was the clone of me!

Tillie, still struggling to name that pain

Tillie: I feel like I have a canker sore on my leg. Or maybe you call it a horse radish.

Me: You mean a charley horse?

Tillie. Yes, that.

Tillie, on cleaning her room

“I’m just not going to deal with that right now.”

Tillie, on privacy after I find her lost shoes in her closet

“You’re always poking into stuff when I don’t want you to. Maybe you should ask first. That’s what they call being polite you know.”

Tillie, hopefully about stories and not about life

“Bad guys make it more fun!”

And, finally,

It’s been a long month. Here’s what I mean by that: I have had it in my mind to record “A Month of Tillie Tuesdays”. As you can see, this is the 34th Edition of Tillie Tuesday. So, yes, it’s been a long month. I am going to step aside for awhile. I want to thank everyone for their kind words of appreciation. It’s been fun and, hopefully, my intention of sharing Tillie’s wit and wisdom has brought a smile to your face. Thank you for reading!
